Sysomos, Greek for “everything together”, emerged from an advanced research project started in 2005 at the University of Toronto. The project led to the creation of a core content aggregation and analysis engine released as BlogScope in May 2006.
Sysomos was incorporated in September 2007 with the launch of its flagship product, Media Analysis Platform (MAP). An updated version of MAP was launched in June 2008.
